The Ambassador of Tunisia to Sri Lanka, Mrs. Hayet Talbi, paid a visit to the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, on February 3rd. The Secretary General of Parliament, Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake, was also in attendance during the meeting, which took place at Parliament.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the enhancement of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Sri Lanka, as well as the potential for growth in the tourism industry, business partnerships, and inter-parliamentary relationships between the two nations.
Ambassador Talbi expressed Tunisia’s commitment to supporting Sri Lanka in its developmental endeavors.
