The Republic of Italy has expressed their readiness to help Sri Lanka by offering helicopters for the anti-human trafficking efforts taken by the Government of Sri Lanka.
Her Excellency the Italian Ambassador Rita Giuliana Mannella revealed this during a meeting with Hon. President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday at the Presidential Secretariat.
The discussion focused on deepening the connection between Italy and Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on cultural exchanges, tourism growth, potential investments, defence matters, and how Italy can assist Sri Lanka during this difficult period. – PMD
