A few showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Uva and Eastern provinces and in Mullaitivu districts after 2.00 p.m.

Winds: Winds will be south-westerly in the sea areas around the island and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph. The wind speed can be increased up to (50-60) kmph at times in the sea areas extending from Kankasanturai to Puttalam via Mannar and in the sea areas extending from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
