The Human Resource Development (HRD) Office of Parliament conducted several training programmes for the staff members of the Parliament from 12th July to 16th July 2021.
The first of the training programmes “Diversity, Inclusion and Communications” was conducted for the staff members of the Communication Department on the 12th July at the Committee Room 1 and 2.
The Parliament Secretariat and the HRD conducted the training in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The second was a Series of Training Programmes on Research & Report Writing for the staff of the Department of Administration, Legislative, Co-ordinating Engineer and Communication. This training was conducted on the 13th, 14th and 16th of July.
Meanwhile, a training Programme on “Asset Management Training for Parliament Staff” was also conducted on the 12th July 2021 for the employees who are designated to conduct the “Physical Verification of Articles” of the year 2020 of Parliament Secretariat.
The Assistant Director Administration of HRD Shyama Fernando said that almost all the programmes were conducted online due to the COVID 19 restrictions.
