POCO, the industry-redefining smartphone brand, today announced the launch of its latest smartphone, POCO X3 Pro building on the #PROformance legacy of POCO F1 in Sri Lanka. Tailor-made for young tech and gaming enthusiasts, the newly launched smartphone redefines the smartphone experience by making it unbelievably fluid and powerful.

Commenting on the launch, Vidya Sagar Mugada, General Manager, Xiaomi Sri Lanka, said, “At POCO, we strive to deliver the best of technology in line with our consumers’ requirements. Our first phone, POCO F1 continues to be the performance champion till date being the longest popular smartphone prevalent in the market.”

He further added, “Taking the performance legacy forward and in line with the belief of democratizing the market, we are presenting our users with POCO X3 Pro, from our flagship X series. Powered by the flagship  Qualcomm® Snapdragon 860, POCO X3 Pro brings in features and performance never seen in this segment before. A perfect amalgamation of gaming, photography, and high performance, POCO X3 Pro comes with LiquidCool plus technology for a smooth gaming experience, and features a massive battery with MMT charging technology for a ‘never stop’ experience. We are delighted to bring this smartphone and look forward to our fans’ response.”

 Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 860 powered smartphone

Building on the power and #PROformance legacy of POCO F1, POCO X3 Pro will come with the flagship processor, Snapdragon 860, featuring as the first device to launch with this chipset. The 8-core chipset boasts 7nm processing technology, delivering a 2.96GHz maximum frequency for outstanding peak #proformance. Equipped with the powerful Adreno 640 GPU graphics processor, the device seamlessly runs all mainstream games, available in the market. With an AnTuTu V8 score of 491000+, POCO X3 Pro is the undisputed king of power and #proformance in its category, ahead of any other device in its segment.

For everlasting, peak gaming sessions and to ensure steady operation and frictionless user experience, POCO X3 Pro features LiquidCool Plus – a cooling solution packing an enlarged copper heat pipe and multiple layers of graphite that work together to reduce the device’s thermal capacity. The device also comes paired with top of the line hardware such as LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1, the fastest mobile storage tech in the industry that is 3X faster than UFS 3.0 and 14x faster than UFS 2.1 found on phones in this price segment.

Providing pro-grade features and tech that not only offers a smooth and seamless smartphone experience but also is a gamer’s delight, POCO X3 Pro completes its powerful #PROformance capabilities with Z-Shocker haptic motor that redefines feedback with customized vibrations.

Smarter and Faster 120Hz Display

Known to offer the best of everything, POCO has left no stone unturned with POCO X3 Pro. With an aim to address concerns around the modern high-refresh rate displays, the device features a Smart Display, with Reality Flow 120Hz refresh rate. It is an intelligent display that reads and understands the frame rate variability in an app’s content and automatically adjusts the desired refresh rate to 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz or 120Hz, saving battery and making the smartphone more power efficient than ever. This allows the phone’s refresh rate to go up for high-capacity situations like gaming and down for lighter operations like reading or watching a movie.

For an uninterrupted edge-to-edge viewing experience, the device features a dot-type bezel-less 16.9cm (6.67) FullHD+ display with 2400x 1080p resolution, protected by flagship level Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It also comes with 240Hz touch sampling rate that provides smooth lag-free performance. The display delivers punchy vivid colors and provides stunning visuals and contrast, with HDR 10 support.

PRO 48MP Quad Camera Setup

POCO X3 Pro offers an impressive quad camera setup, consisting of a Computer Vision Image signal processor, a 48MP primary sensor with F/1.79 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and 118° FoV, 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor for portraiture. The versatile camera setup with a 20MP front camera lets consumers capture the best selfies and pictures that capture natural look, thereby packing true-to-life color quality.

The device supports 4K video recording at 30/60fps and comes with several features including smooth video zoom, focus peaking and AE/AF lock along with Vlog mode, to capture high-res videos in great quality for content creation and social media stories. In addition, it will come with features such as Night mode 2.0, Long exposure, Clone Photo and Video mode, to allow creators to move and do more beyond basic smartphone photography.

 PRO Battery with PRO Charging

POCO X3 Pro boasts a massive 5160mAh battery, one of the biggest batteries in its category. It comes with MMT tech, a split charge technology that allows better charge time in a shorter span of time and also protects the battery health cycle for the longer run. The device also comes with an in-box fast 33W Type-C charger and supports USB PD charge at 26W, the fastest PD support in its segment.

PRO Phone, PRO Features

Providing an immersive audio experience, POCO X3 Pro is paired with a dual-stereo speaker setup and is high-res audio and is aptX™ HD certified. It provides loud and clear sound, offering a great overall multimedia and immersive gaming experience. Featuring smart functionality, the speakers on the device have the ability to self-clean, ensuring steady operation and clear audio quality in the longer run.

Keeping the device protected from accidental falls and scratches, POCO X3 Pro comes with IP53 certification, ensuring that the device is protected from dust and water ingress, in rough weather conditions.
