Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 Update: According to the Health Ministry’s Epidemiology Unit, 3,306 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Wednesday.
The New Year COVID-19 cluster is responsible for all positive cases discovered on Wednesday.
According to a report released by the Epidemiology Unit at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, 192,547 COVID-19 cases have been documented, with 30,267 infected people being treated in hospitals and 160,714 patients fully recovered and discharged.
According to a report from the Epidemiology Unit, a total of 1,766,636 persons had got the first dosage of COVID-19 vaccination, with 351,017 receiving the second dosage.
Update of victims
On Wednesday, June 02, 2021, Sri Lanka announced 39 deaths as a result of COVID-19.
The Director-General of Health Services revealed on Wednesday that 39 people died as a result of Covid-19 virus infection between May 17 and June 1. There were no COVID-19 deaths recorded on Wednesday.
In Sri Lanka, 1,566 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 infection.
