Permission has been given to use Ayurveda Hospitals to treat coronavirus patients, according to State Minister Sisira Jayakody.
Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle, the State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemiology, and COVID Disease Control, he said, has given Ayurveda Hospitals permission to treat COVID-19 patients.
As a result, he said, the Ayurveda Hospitals in Rajagiriya, Navinna, and Pallekele have been given permission to begin treating COVID-19 patients.
The State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals Growth, and Community Health stated that COVID patients referred to these hospitals would be treated with Ayurvedic indigenous medicines.
