Since the 8th of April, expressways in Sri Lanka have provided Rs. 350 million in revenue in just 11 days during the recent festive season.
During this time, approximately 1,236,288 vehicles have used the expressways, according to Minister of Highways Johnston Fernando.
Furthermore, on April 10, the bulk of these vehicles had used the expressways.
Minister Fernando said that on that day, 141,17 vehicles used the expressways, generating revenue of nearly Rs. 38 million.
