Sri Lanka’s education system, according to Minister of Education GL Peiris, will be reformed to train students to meet current work demand.
Minister Peiris said today at a Temple Trees event that fields like computer science, information technology, and languages must be included in the scheme.
He believes there is a strong need to develop more skilled children who can succeed on a global scale.
Minister Peiris stated, however, that the Education Ministry alone would not be able to reach the target.
He said that the Education Ministry needs everyone’s help in order to achieve the aim.
