The 2020 GCE Advanced Level Examination is coming to a close today. Examinations Commissioner General Sanath Pujitha said the test was carried out successfully in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
The exam was conducted in 362,824 candidates in 2,648 centers throughout the island.
Sanath Pujitha said that despite the challenges encountered by the coronavirus, the examination was carried out successfully and expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to its success.
Pujitha clarified that the 2020 GCE A / L Exam, which began on 12 October, will be concluded today after a period of 22 days.
He noted that Communication and Media Studies Part Two paper will take place this morning, while Higher Mathematics Part Two and Greek and Roman Civilization Part Two papers will take place this afternoon.
The Exams Commissioner-General stressed that all those involved in the education, safety, health, and transport sectors have contributed to the successful conduct of this year’s A / Level Test.
