Local News: The Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry reported that the Sri Lankan Embassy in Abu Dhabi has been closed over several employees at the Embassy who contracted the novel coronavirus.
The COVID-19 virus has reportedly been confirmed positive by 5 Embassy staff members.

The Sri Lankan Embassy has been closed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates until further notice, the Embassy stated.
The decision was taken because of an emergency situation, the Embassy said.

Nonetheless, the Embassy advises the public to make contact by email as due to the high number of calls, the Embassy may not be able to answer all the calls at once.
