Local News: An island-wide curfew will be enforced on May 18 at 8pm until 5am (Monday), The curfew in the Colombo and Gampaha districts will continue until further notice, the media unit of the president said.
In all other districts, except Colombo and Gampaha, the curfew will be lifted on Monday, May 18 at 5 a.m. and will continue during the week from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Saturday, May 23.
The curfew enforced in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha will continue to be in effect by easing regulations to promote business operations, economic development, and normal public life. The conditions for relaxing curfew restrictions for Colombo and Gampaha districts on May 11 will continue in the same way.
