Business News from Sri Lanka: The 23rd Sri Lankan Export Development Board’s (EDB) Presidential Export Award Ceremony will be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on today, September 19, 2019 under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Initiated by the EDB in 1981, the Presidential Export Awards (PEA) is the most prestigious export award in Sri Lanka and is presented to exporters who have made a important contribution to the exports of Sri Lanka.
The ceremony this year will recognize and greet exporters for their excellence in the 2018/19 financial year and the awards symbolize exporters ‘ national recognition, especially in non-traditional products and service industries.
