Development News from Sri Lanka: Yesterday, President Maithripala Sirisena opened an Ayurvedic ward complex built at a price of Rs. 150 million at the Pallekelle Ayurvedic Hospital.
The complex, consisting of two distinct wards for masculine and female patients, started building in 2017.
Ayurvedic Commissioner Dr. Dhammika Abeygunawardhana said the new ward will maintain the patients physically and mentally fit with hundred beds, all the required machinery, and facilities.
The commissioner also expressed trust that the opening of this new ward will provide all equipment for patients from faraway places, both indoors and outdoors.
