Vehicle News from Sri Lanka:
Lexus LX gets a bit long in the tooth would be an understatement to see how the full-size luxury SUV has been around since 2007, similar to the mechanically associated Toyota Land Cruiser. While the jury is still on when substitutes are lastly disclosed for the two big SUVs, the duo’s premium version is receiving a nip and tuck for the 2020 model year.
The Sport Package, which is available solely for the three-row version and not to is confused with an F Sport model, attempts to do what its name suggests–make the LX look a bit more sporty. By applying a fresh take on its huge spindle grille, Lexus has updated the front fascia, which looks just as courageous as grilles get. The front end therapy with the Off-Road Package is almost as striking as the lately launched 2020 RX, and that kind of design will not leave you indifferent.
Lexus also updated the lower back valence while adding some chrome accents to the side mirrors colored in the body. Equipped with the optional Sport Package, the LX will ride on huge 21-inch tires with a 10-speed layout that will make the big car even more attentive. The premium division of Toyota will also throw goodies such as four-zone climate control, door-mounted projector lights, and heated and ventilated front/rear seats into the luxury package for your money.
The LX Sport Package features semi-aniline leather-lined seats finished in black, Cabernet or Moonlight White, with this version being exclusive to the latter. The headliner comes in black and the steering wheel has a wood trim, irrespective of the one you go for. The 19-speaker Mark Levinson’s sound system, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad complete the list of niceties.
