The Banco of Ceylon (BOC), which has taken Gampaha Branch to its new location as the Commemoration Branch for the 80th anniversary, has reached yet another milestone, providing clients with more comfort.
Chief Guests also took the opportunity to attend the historic occasion, President Karu Jayasuriya and Mayor Eranga Senanayake of the Gampaha Municipal Council. The branch was officially opened by the Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon, Chairman Ronald C Perera, the Non-Chief Executive Officer Kumar Mayadunne and Acting CEO Russell Fonseka.

The Gampaha Super Grade branch has also developed a “Green Banking Concept” branch with connections to the national grid to extend its green banking methods other than to support digital banking to minimize its carbon footprint.
LED amps with a specially constructed diffuser scheme and other fittings and environmental licensed equipment have been used to minimize the use of energy usage by the branch. Panels for solar energy conservation are also solved.
