The 2019 Peugeot 5008 is a standard crossover with seven seats at core, but it is sprinkled with distinctive touches, cleverly performed thoughts, and French quirks that make it feel distinct from its rivals. First, the fundamentals. The power in the 5008 comes from a conventional four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 121kW and 240Nm, which is automatically placed on the front wheels via a six-speed torque converter.
That’s not a huge amount of grunt carrying a 4641 mm long, 1646 mm high, 1844 mm wide seven-seater crossover, but the engine (internally known as THP, engine code geeks) doesn’t feel underpowered in everyday driving. It’s silently and smoothly running its company, and while it’s not setting your pulse racing, it’s got enough pep to get the children to college on time.
With six full-size adults on board, it will be happy to sit at 100 km/h. Occasionally, Hills force it back to fifth gear, and overtaking requires a heavy throttle punch, but we were pleasantly amazed by how fully loaded the Pug performs. Peugeot says the 5008 will hit 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, which in the actual globe feels fairly precise.
Interior
The all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV is prepared for anything you could throw at it. Everyone can be comfortable with seven individual seats on board. Second-row occupants can enjoy longitudinal adjustment to maximize legroom and even recline the seat backrest angle on each of the three autonomous seats for optimum convenience. Occupants in the third row will also appreciate generous leg and headroom rates. The third-row seats may be removed and stored individually if not needed.
All it takes to activate it is a quick foot movement under the bumper center. It couldn’t be simpler to load the Peugeot 5008 SUV with a big boot aperture and low load sill too. Whether it’s a few surfboards for a journey to the park after a journey to the beach or the family pet, this big SUV will bring it in its footsteps.
Peugeot 5008 SUV provides exceptional flexibility with seven autonomous seats, with row three decreasing to allow you to enjoy an amazing load room of 952 litres. The third row seats weigh only 11 kg each and can be separated and stored individually from the car, increasing the load room to 1060 liters. Fold the second line flat, which raises the load room to a really cavernous 2,150 liters. Just fold the front passenger seat* to raise the load length to 3.2 meters for additional lengthy loads.

Technology
Peugeot 5008 SUV Allure versions and upwards benefit from a host of technologies intended to help the driver on the open highway, featuring class-leading advanced driver assistance systems. These schemes include Active Blind Spot Detection, which alerts the driver to an obstacle in the mirrors via an LED, as well as applying a trajectory adjustment to the engine if no obstacle is noticed by the driver. Active Lane Keeping Assistance, Advanced Driver Attention Alert and PEUGEOT Smartbeam Assistance are other normal support systems from Allure upwards.
In addition, versions of Peugeot 5008 SUV Allure and upwards benefit from SOS and Assistance from PEUGEOT Connect. If the airbags are deployed, a car locating communication device will locate the car accurately and trigger the sending of the suitable emergency services for a quick response.
For a more relaxed drive, appreciate the advantages of the ACC Stop* scheme, this adaptive cruise control feature controls the velocity of the cars as well as keeping a fixed distance between the front vehicle, requiring less driver input. The system uses both the brakes and the engine braking automatically to regulate the distance behind the front car and, if necessary, bring the car to a complete stop.
