A while back Honor President, Zhao Ming said a 5 G phone will be released by the end of the year by the business. In an interview following the launch of the Honor 9X series, the president of the company confirmed that in Q4 2019 we will see the launch of a 5 G Honor phone.
The phone in question has already been tested and is approaching the final phases of its growth. Ming reiterated that 2019 will be the year 5 G will take off in China so that Honor will bring its own phones to the next-generation network.
The upcoming phone will rely on the Balong 5000 5 G modem created in-house. It can reach speeds of 4.6 Gbps on the main 5 G frequency band and the high-frequency band up to 6.5Gbps.
Ming verified that the output will be outstanding while the design will lead to a fresh telephone production standard. For now, we’ll have to wait patiently to see what Honor is working on until the latter end of the year.
