The Bank of Ceylon joined the newly constructed Laggala Green Town, replacing the ancient town submerged in the Moragahakanda Kalu Ganga reservoir project.
Laggala Green Town was built on the basis of fresh urban ideas, incorporating residents ‘ future demands. As the pioneering bank that supports viable socio-economic development in the country, Bank of Ceylon’s move to New Laggala Green City shows the depth of the bank’s dedication to that goal.
BOC Laggala was launched by Ranjith Aluvihare, Minister of State for Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs, and Ronlad C. Perera, President of the bank, at Laggala New Town, Pallegama. Also present on this occasion were the CEO / General Manager Senarath Bandara and Deputy General Sales and Channel Management C. Amarasinghe and Assistant General Manager Y.A. Jayathilaka.
The opening is a strategic move to make its clients in the Central Province more convenient in terms of digital contact. This event was officially attended by BOC Laggala branch manager and his employees and clients as well as wishers.
