Five people from the same family tested positive for the novel infection with coronavirus, health minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi said. The Chilaw family was reportedly detained and quarantined yesterday (29) on suspicion of contracting the virus.
After completion of the two-week long quarantine process, one more batch of 77 returnees from Punani and Galkanda Quarantine Centres (QCs) left for home this morning (29) from respective locations after completion of medical procedures and receipt of their Quarantine Certificates.
