“Work from home” duration extended from 30 March to 03 April

Local News: To strengthen the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus in the country, the duration from March 30 to April 03 had been declared as a time of’ Work from Home,’ the Presidential Media Division (PMD) said.

It said that this would apply to all agencies of the state, semi-government and private sector except those listed as critical services. “This time is not considered public holidays. The government is responsible for the continuous continuity of public services.

Nevertheless, the purpose of this measure is to avoid excessive gathering of people and pave the way for self-quarantine,” it said. Earlier, from March 20 to March 27 a Work from Home Week was announced. Also at this time, the Government declares that the same protocol will proceed.
