Local News: A large number of patients who receive prescription drugs from hospitals and pharmacies have been inconvenient due to the continuing island-wide curfew enforced by the government as a way to combat the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Despite this, the Ministry of Health agreed to keep all pharmacies on the island open during curfew hours. The Ministry has issued to the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) the necessary instructions.
Accordingly, diagnosis and treatment of the patient may be used as a pass for curfew.
In addition, the Ministry of Health has demanded that the Acting IGP grant permission to move pharmacy staff and vehicles carrying medicines while curfew is in place.
