SriLankan Airlines suspends operations to Cochin due to floods

SrLankan Airlines suspended operations in Cochin, India until Sunday, August 11, 2019 after the airport was closed owing to flooding. Cochin Airport Authority Limited today announced that all operations at Kochi airport were suspended on Sunday until 3 p.m.

A red alert was given to 04 Western countries of India, namely Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, due to prevailing negative weather circumstances. While SriLankan Airlines apologizes for the inconvenience of its valued travelers, via Trivandrum and Coimbatore, the airline provides alternative links for travelers traveling to and from Kochi.
