The urgent need to unite as a country after the Easter Sunday terror attacks were clearly demonstrated by 21 Musicians, the public and private sector and civil society at the ‘21/4WeCare’ Tribute concert held at the BMICH recently.
The ‘sold-out’ event was held in aid of Scholarships to orphans of the Easter Sunday terror attacks. The funds raised by this event will be used in full to award scholarships to twenty (21) orphans.
The scholarships will be managed by HNB as the banking partner for this project and KPMG is the assurance partner.
The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) as the lead organizer of the event was instrumental in bringing together many partner organizations that all worked together in making this event a tremendous success.
ICCSL Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody, said the Chamber would like to express their gratitude to the co-organisers of the event, ACCA, BMICH Colombo, BBDO and Cinnamon Life and Promotional partners namely AIA Insurance, Hameedia group, Banking Parker HNB, European Chamber of Commerce, MBA Alumni Association – University of Colombo, Sri Lanka Retailers Association, KPMG as the Assurance Partner, SLITHM, CSE, Mobitel, DeranaTV, Red FM, Emerging Media, Dynamic AV, Tickets.lk, Sri Lankan Airlines and Learn TV and Positive Sri Lanka for contributing to the success of the event.
