Honda Pilot Black Edition 2020 Is New Top-Top Trim

Vehicle News from Sri Lanka:

The Japanese automaker is now adding the fresh range-topping Black Edition trim for 2020 a year after Honda gave the Pilot an important update for the 2019 model year. Based on the Honda Pilot Elite, just like our long-term Honda, the Pilot Black Edition brings inside and out a number of fresh design indications. The Pilot Black Edition is comparable to 2018 launched Honda Ridgeline Black Edition.

Prospective pilot holders picking up the Black Edition will have several visual features added to the exterior, including exclusive Crystal Black Pearl paint, Black Edition grill and tailgate caps, and 20-inch alloy black-painted wheels. Black-out trim parts include a grill, headlight trim, door handles, side trim, accents of fog light, and window trim. You would need to look elsewhere if you were looking for efficiency upgrades.

While the blackout theme remains inside, throughout, Honda spices stuff up with red accents. Red accent lighting for the dash, doors and console center pair with red stitching accents on the chairs, door panels and steering wheels of the front and second-row captain. First-and second-row seats on the perforated leather receive red accents while the Black Edition logo on the front seats and floor mats is embossed.

The 2020 Honda Pilot starts today with the 2020 Honda Pilot Black Edition beginning at $50,715 (all prices include the $1,095 target fee). That’s a tiny premium–$1,500–over the $49,215 starting Honda Pilot Elite. It will be up to clients to decide if paying that premium is sensible. Without performance or energy upgrades, the fresh trim is an appearance package. The Pilot Black Edition is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 that produces torque 280 horsepower (208 kilowatts) and 295 pound-feet (399 Newton-meters). All-wheel drive and automatic nine-speed drive from Honda are standard.
