The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute articulated its dedication and capacity to have a positive effect on Sri Lanka in supporting the ambitious capital market growth plans of the country. The CFA also seeks to further expand its cooperation with the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) to enhance economic literacy and encourage the highest ethical norms and professional excellence within the local investment community.
To this end, the CFA seeks to investigate countless possibilities in many fields of the capital market in collaboration with the CSE, said Paul Smith, CFA Institute’s chairman and chief executive. The CSE had invited Paul Smith on an official trip to Sri Lanka to open the market on Wednesday.

He also voiced satisfaction with the Sri Lankan government’s actions to generate a vibrant and effective Sri Lankan capital market.
