The Milk Powder Importers’ Association has made an announcement that prices of imported milk powder will be reduced starting from Saturday, the 1st of April, 2023. The association has informed that the price reduction will be significant, with a decrease of Rs. 200 for a 1kg pack of imported milk powder, and a decrease of Rs. 80 for a 400g pack.
This decision comes as a relief for consumers who have been facing high prices of milk powder for quite some time. The association has attributed the price reduction to the decrease in the cost of production and transportation.
