Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary General of the United Nations and Chairman of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), will be visiting Sri Lanka on February 06 at the invitation of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
During his visit, he is expected to sign several agreements that are related to sustainable development and climate change in Sri Lanka.
He will also be discussing the proposed International University on Climate Change which is to be established with the help of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The President will then meet with Ban Ki-moon on February 7.
