According to Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, the government has banned the use of non-biodegradable lunch sheets.
The decision will go into effect on August 1, 2021. As a result, the sale and use of all non-biodegradable lunch sheets will be prohibited in the country.
This was mentioned by the Minister of Agriculture at a press conference held today in Colombo (July 28).
