On Monday (31) a delegation from Huawei paid a visit to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees and donated Rs. 2 million to the Itukama Health and Social Security Fund.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister appreciated Huawei’s continued assistance in combating the epidemic.
The Prime Minister was introduced to Sri Lanka’s five-year active CSR program through the Huawei Faculty of Information and Communication Technology by Chen Min Ji, Vice President, Public Relations and Communications, Huawei.
The goal of this CSR program is to train 10,000 students in IT and communication technology.
