Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Matara District last morning (30) to observe vaccination activities for the district’s residents.
As a result, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa went to the vaccination center at Mahinda Rajapaksa College in Wellamadama, Matara, and observed the process.
The Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of continuing public vaccinations without interruption, directed officials to carry out the vaccination program in a way that does not cause inconvenience to the public.
Other than health workers, a group of government officials, sanitation workers from local government bodies, and essential service personnel received the vaccine at the vaccination center at Mahinda Rajapaksa College in Matara.
Minister Dullas Alahapperuma, State Minister Kanchana Wijesekera, and Parliamentarians Nipuna Ranawaka, Karunadasa Kodituwakku, and Weerasumana Weerasinghe also attended.
