Winds:
Winds will be North-easterly to easterly in the sea areas around the island. Wind speed will be (20-30) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 50 kmph in the sea areas extending from Colombo to Kankasanthurai via Puttlam and from Galle to Hambantota.
State of Sea:
The sea areas extending from Colombo to Kankasanthurai via Puttlam can be rough at times. The sea areas extending from Galle to Hambantota can be fairly rough at times. The other sea areas around the island will be slight to moderate.
