The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to increase the amount of financial credit available for registered vehicles to 80 percent of the vehicle’s value.
The directive was signed by the Governor of the Central Bank, Prof. WD Lakshman, on the 17th of February.
As a result, vehicles that have been in service for more than a year after their initial registration in the country will get credit for up to 80% of their value.
