Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena declared today (23) the appointment of Members of Parliament nominated by the Committee of Selection to serve on the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Technology and the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Public Security during the first session of the Ninth Parliament.
This appointment was made in compliance with the terms of Parliament’s Standing Order 112 and the Resolution adopted by Parliament on 07 January 2021.
The Speaker then announced that the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Technology had been named by Susil Premajayantha, (Prof.) Tissa Vitarana, Mayantha Dissanayake, Imran Maharoof, and Yadamini Gunawardena.
