Leading innovator in the Sri Lankan photo printing industry Digimax, a subsidiary of Digital Imaging & Printers Pvt Ltd., recently celebrated the launch of their new state-of-the-art showroom and multi-purpose printing outlet, Digimax, in Colombo. The launch coincides with Digimax’s recent appointment as the only authorized Sri Lankan sales representative for Fujifilm Japan.

Digimax imports and supplies high quality mini labs, printers, papers, chemicals, inks and accessories, and all a broad scope of other digital imaging products. The company is also the only Authorized Representative for Mitsubishi Inject Papers in Sri Lanka since 2017.

Most importantly, we will continue to invest in technology that will play an important role in filling critical photo printing needs more efficiently at utmost quality standards”, stated Digital Imaging & Printers Chairman and Managing Director Nishan Algewatte.

Working closely with leading international suppliers of machinery, papers and ink, Digimax boasts strong business relationships which enables them to offer high quality and innovative technological solutions at the most competitive prices in Sri Lanka.

Founded in 1996 as Lanka Seya Photographic Supply, Digital Imaging & Printers is Sri Lanka’s leader in the field of silver halide and inkjet photo paper market. Operating Asia’s largest photo slitting plant, the company offers a broad scope of photographic printing machines and papers for professional photo printer mini lab spare parts and accessories. It is also one of the very few importers of the jumbo roll of premium paper base and the Edge Naho – microporous coating technology (Digi Max —Extreme HD). Digimax, launched as a subsidiary in 2015, has fast grown into a company that has strong ties to top of the line manufacturing companies in both UK and Japan, and supplies photo printing raw material to both local and foreign markets.
