Parliament’s sessions this week will take place from tomorrow to 12 February.
The Committee on Parliamentary Business, which met this morning under the patronage of House Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, adopted the decision.
This morning, the Committee on Parliamentary Enterprise met to discuss whether to reduce the number of sitting days and to settle on the week’s agenda.
Meanwhile, the Speaker will announce the decision to allow Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake, who is currently serving a prison sentence, to attend future parliamentary sessions tomorrow.
