Yet another 261 people from overseas have arrived in Sri Lanka.
29 came from India, 30 from Qatar, 45 from Japan and 157 from Australia, according to the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak.
Meanwhile, an additional 365 individuals are also scheduled to arrive on the island today, including international visitors. Of the number 159, Ukraine will arrive.
Meanwhile, 30 from the Maldives, 32 from Italy, 10 from Bangladesh, 5 from Malaysia, 35 from South Africa, 75 from the UAE and 19 from Singapore are expected.
The NOCPCO has estimated that 5,582 people are currently housed in 78 dedicated isolation facilities currently run by the Tri-Forces.
