Business leader Susantha Ratnayake resigned as Chairman of the Investment Board of Sri Lanka (BOI) with effect from yesterday (30).
Ratnayake resigned from the board for personal reasons, though volunteering to work only for a year.
Ratnayake was appointed Chairman of the BOI in mid-December 2019. He served as Chairman and CEO of John Keells Holdings PLC from January 2006 to December 2018. He had been a member of the JKH Board since 1992/93.
