The 2020 awards followed company assessments and end-customer surveys across 73 global energy transition markets with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) customers and project developers as stakeholders.

Company assessments covered management profile, installations (kWp/ MWs), completed projects to date, pipeline projects and other relevant company information, and end-customer experiences and recommendations.
The end-customer criterion took into consideration satisfaction with the sales transaction, quality of the PV system installed, quality of the service offered, quality of the after-sales service, and overall satisfaction.
