Local News: Eleven individuals have been arrested over the past 24 hours for breaching quarantine curfew laws, Sri Lanka Police said.
DIG Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana said that 135 people have been arrested since last Sunday (October 11) for breaching the curfew.
Meanwhile, it is strictly forbidden to operate any stores, including pharmacies, in the curfew active areas, the Police Media Spokesman added.
He reported that tomorrow (15) a decision will be taken concerning the opening of shops in the relevant areas.
DIG Ajith Rohana, however, advises the public to obey the health sector guidelines, as there is a chance of an outbreak of COVID-19 in all areas.
