Local News Sri Lanka: The Attorney General has told the Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) that the draft Circular Instructions provided during the election concerning COVID-19 regulation are contrary to law.
“The powers of PHI to directly join propaganda gatherings, detaining and prosecuting polling stations have been withdrawn and subject to MOH guidelines,” said Attorney General Nishara Jayaratne’s Coordinating Officer.
