Local News Sri Lanka: Private and school candidates sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2020 should be subject to the online procedure, according to the Examination Department, in a press release published today (24).
Commissioner General of the Examinations, Mr. Sanath Pujitha said that the details of the application can be found on the official website of the Examinations Department – www.doenets.lk.
Applications submitted by private and school candidates will be accepted from 22 July to 31 August.
A printed copy of the application should then be sent to the Examinations Department by post.
The release further noted that the applications of the school candidates must be directed by the respective principals or heads of each Pirivena to the Examinations Department.
Relevant instructions in this regard have already been sent to them, the release added.
Instructions relevant to private candidates for the examination are published on the official website of the Examinations Department. And they are encouraged to submit their applications directly through the online procedure. They are also advised to send a printed copy of the application by post.
