Local News: An all-island curfew will be in force on the 24th and 25th of May, says the President’s Media Division (PMD).
The ongoing curfew in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha will be in effect until further notice, further notice by the PMD ‘s updated announcement on the curfew.
Curfew for other 23 districts, which will come into force tomorrow at 8.00 pm (23), will be eased on May 26 at 5.00 am.
The curfew in these districts will be extended from 5.00 am to 8.00 pm daily from May 26 onwards, until further notice.

The mechanism to restore normalcy in civilian life and institutions in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha while curfew is in force, will be operational tomorrow (23) and will resume from May 26 after the countrywide curfew of two days, the PMD noted.
Conditions included in previous announcements about normal life restart will remain unchanged.
