Local News: Taking into account curfew and travel restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus, the grace period given for paying motor traffic fines was further extended until May 29.
“Accordingly, fines levied on or after March 01 can be paid without any overdue penalty within this period,” the postal department said in a statement.
Prior to this, the department had declared a grace period until May 2. It said however that this time would be prolonged as certain parts of the country were under curfew.
Post offices and sub-post offices will pay motor traffic fines until services resume on Monday.
