Local News: The United National Party (UNP) announced that on Monday, Party General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said it would take part in the meeting with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in Temple Trees.
Mr Kariyawasam said that his party would be taking part in the meeting on Monday, May 4th with Prime Minister Rajapaksa, but the party hierarchy will meet tomorrow, May 3, to take a final decision on the issues to be discussed during the meeting with Prime Minister Rajapaksa.
