Local News: The Attorney General has approved Sri Lankan Police’s steps to curb the spread of COVID-19 within the country.
As a response to a letter from the acting inspector general of police (IGP) requesting advice, the attorney general has delegated his counsel.
The Attorney General has stated that the measures taken by the Police to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19, including the enforcement of the curfew, are approved by statute, the Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer said.
