Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa instructs to facilitate production of ’monitoring bracelet’

Local News: Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed relevant officials to facilitate high-quality bracelet production that can track people in quarantine, said the Media Division of the Prime Minister. Today Prime Minister Rajapaksa was presented with the monitoring system that was manufactured by Amila Sameera Ratnayaka to monitor the people in quarantine.
Mr. Ratnayaka, who is a Pannipitiya resident, said the system could be used as a bracelet to track the people who are being quarantined. The Premier also instructed the officials to give Mr. Ratnayake the requisite guidance in obtaining the product’s patent license. Steps were also taken to demonstrate the commodity to Army Commander Shavendra Silva.
