Local News: The ‘Work from Home’ duration was further extended for another week (April 6-10) to strengthen the government’s efforts to prevent COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) spread across the world.
This shall extend to all agencies of the State, Semi-Government, and Private Sector except those listed as essential services.
That time is not known as public holidays. The Government is responsible for the continuous continuity of public services.
The purpose of this measure, however, is to prevent unnecessary gathering of people, and pave the way for self-quarantine.
Work from Home Week was declared earlier from March 20 to March 27 and was extended further until April 03. The Government also declares that it will follow the same protocol during this period.
