Local News Update: Nushad Perera, a marketing professional, has been appointed Chairman of Lanka Sathosa, the largest retail chain owned by Sri Lanka.
Perera is a Fellow of the Chartered Marketing Institute (FCIM), holds an MBA from Leicester University and is a highly decorated marketer, appointed’ CIM Marketer of the Year’ in 2001 and awarded the prestigious’ Global Brand Leadership Award’ at the 2007 Asia Brand Congress.
