New Chairman Dr. Uthpala Indrawansa received his letter of appointment to SPMC

Local News Update: New Chairman Dr. Uthpala Indrawansa received his letter of appointment last week from Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs and Social Security, Education and Aboriginal Medicine Pavithra Wanniarachchi, State Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Corporation (SPMC).
Dr. Indrawansa is an old boy of D. S. Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo.
He obtained a Medical Degree from Moscow Medical Academy in Russia. He served at Polonnaruwa Hospital from 2001 to 2009. He was selected as one among the five best doctors in the island during the Health Excellence Awards 2008 organized by the Health Ministry.
